CST Tire Campaign
I was brought on this project to rig all the characters and vehicles as well as animate these shots. The human character rigs were straight forward. For the vehicles, we needed them to have believable suspension without the animators having to think about it, so I automated the suspension. I also wrote a script to solve the wheel rotation accurately along the road so that we didn’t need to fiddle with that when we animated it. Primal had a great idea to make the snake’s asphalt scales shift as it moved as well, so I ended up using a simple wiggle space deformer that it would move through and give that effect.
